Unit Objectives and Assignments for Week 14!

*Conducting Research: For the proposal assignment, you are asked to use minimum three scholarly/professional sources. To get the research process started, read Chapter 6 "Conducting Research for a Document" from WTW. I shared UTEP Library's page for our course with you all before: https://libguides.utep.edu/RWS_3355 Please use the resources and tips provided for you here to find your sources. You can also contact the research librarian listed in this page to get further support and help in your research process.

*Planning Proposals and Organizing Information: As you find more information about your proposal's topic, you also want to start thinking about how you want to organize your information so that you proposal will have a strong persuasive argument. In addition to following the instructions provided in the full assignment description (shared as a separate document in Unit 13 module), you want to be more specific and think about how you want to use your sources and the information you have to support the central argument in your proposals. To help you with the organization process, read Chapter 12 "Writing Instructions" from WTW.

*Weekly Post 10: This is the last weekly post assignment of the semester. For this last weekly post, once again, you will make a group submission since for this post you are asked to submit an outline of your group's proposal project along with 3-5 sources you are planning to use. While you are required to have all the main sections included in the assignment description, for your group's outline, it is not acceptable to simply use the headings from the assignment description without adding content to your sections and without personalizing the generic structure of a proposal in the context of your group's topic and main goal. Group submission failing to meet these requirements will not receive credit. While this week's post is a group submission, you all are required to post individuals responses to other group's posts. Weekly Post 10 is due on Friday, April 26 by noon.

*If you have questions, post them to the submission box "Questions-Clarifications About Assignment 4" on BB.
